The best business class fares come with a handful of seats. They cannot be sent to 216,600 people.

So they are not. Those fares go to Gold members, who received all 234 alerts last year. The free list receives 1 a week, and saw 52.

What the free list misses

Gold saw 234 alerts last year. Free saw 52.

Every alert goes to every Gold member: 5,622 fares over the year. There is no secret inventory, only overplanning: when the front of the plane is not selling, the fare drops quietly and briefly, in public.

Every alert we send lands in a Gold inbox. The free list gets 1 a week, so most of the year goes past unseen.

Sent to Gold inboxes, last 12 months

Singapore for £1,260. Bangkok for £1,498.

90 of the 5,622 fares we sent in a year, up to 10 per destination. Touch a card for the arithmetic. Every fare here is gone, and that is the point: Bangkok alone fired 26 alerts and 46 £ fares in a year, a new alert roughly every 2 weeks. Miss one and the next is close.

Below a typical business class fare for that part of the world.

Before you pay

Who Gold is for, and who it is not.

Gold is for people who fly long haul at least once a year and would rather not spend those 11 hours upright. You want that seat for far less: so does everyone here, and the median Gold fare last year came in £1,764 under the going business class price.

What it is not is a way to travel for the least money possible. If you are happy down the back and every pound counts, stay on the free list: it costs nothing and still brings you 52 alerts a year.

One more mismatch: a single fixed trip. Your watchlist filters by departure airport and alliance, not by destination, because the fares decide where we point. If your year holds exactly 1 trip, to 1 city, on fixed dates, save your money: no alert service can promise that one fare. Gold pays off for travellers with 2 or more destinations in mind, who choose where to fly after the fare lands. Last year that gave them 234 alerts and 31 airlines to choose from, with 6 departure airports in the UK.

Same club. Not the same inbox.

Berlin to Tokyo in Qatar Q-suite for £1,180 return. Retail was around £4,300. An unforgettable, premium, pampering experience in every conceivable way.

Eight roundtrips to Bangkok in business class in under a year. Average saving roughly £1,000 per roundtrip. I never pay above £1,750 incl. lounges.

Air France business from London to Bangkok for £1,200 return. The same fare retails north of £3,500. The annual fee paid for itself on the first booking.

We always thought that turning left would be beyond what we could afford or justify ....... not now.

Lufthansa companion sale was a winner, grabbed Oslo Beijing business for a stupidly low price for the two of us next March. Saved around £1,600 even on low season fare. Skip wins!

Skip makes it so easy to find the best deals. Even after I signed up he reached out to find what exactly I was looking for and then sent me some offers that were tailored directly to my needs.
Tony P.Verified Gold member
I was able to take advantage of a rare OneWorld offer and got Europe to Australia for just over £2000. Absolutely fantastic!

We scored our first bargain within a couple of months of joining - a great open-jaw deal to the US that was about half what we'd expect to pay. We've recommended the website to many, and we're currently keeping an eye out for our next great deal!

30days

The 30-day rule.

Join today and read 4 weeks of alerts. Do the sums against the standard fares quoted. If the sums do not work, write to us within 30 days and the £103 comes back to your card, usually within 5 to 10 working days. You can only judge the alerts from the inside, so for 30 days the risk is ours.

The questions we actually get.

Everything, from day 1: every alert we send, the full fare archive, the Handbook and your watchlist. Nothing is held back for a higher tier: Gold is the only tier.

We send alerts. You book direct with the airline. 3 steps: the alert lands, you check dates, you book. We never sit between you and your ticket: you own the booking, the fare conditions and the airline’s own customer service.

£ fares left 6 UK airports in the last 12 months: London Heathrow (317 fares), Manchester (187), London Gatwick (83), Birmingham (33), Edinburgh (21), Glasgow (12). A further 33 £ fares left Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Dusseldorf and Helsinki. Your watchlist, set once, decides which alerts reach your inbox: your departure airports, your alliances.

2 clicks in your account. No email required, no questions on the way out. Unsubscribing from emails is a separate, signposted door. We email you 7 days before every renewal, so the choice is always yours before money moves.

The 30-day rule: read 4 weeks of alerts, do the sums against the standard fares quoted. If the sums do not work, write to us within 30 days and the £103 comes back to your card, usually within 5 to 10 working days.
