The best business class fares come with a handful of seats. They cannot be sent to 216,600 people.
So they are not. Those fares go to Gold members, who received all 234 alerts last year. The free list receives 1 a week, and saw 52.
Then €119 a year from day 31. Cancel before then in 2 clicks and pay nothing more.

What the free list misses
Gold saw 234 alerts last year. Free saw 52.
Every alert goes to every Gold member: 5,622 fares over the year. There is no secret inventory, only overplanning: when the front of the plane is not selling, the fare drops quietly and briefly, in public.

Every alert we send lands in a Gold inbox. The free list gets 1 a week, so most of the year goes past unseen.
Sent to Gold inboxes, last 12 months
Tokyo for €1,271. Bangkok for €1,401.
90 of the 5,622 fares we sent in a year, 10 per destination. Touch a card for the arithmetic. Every fare here is gone, and that is the point: Bangkok alone fired 60 alerts and 328 fares in a year, a new alert roughly every 6 days. Miss one and the next is close.
Below a typical business class fare for that part of the world.
Before you pay
Who Gold is for, and who it is not.
Gold is for people who fly long haul at least once a year and would rather not spend those 11 hours upright. You want that seat for far less: so does everyone here, and the median Gold fare last year came in €1,796 under the going business class price.
What it is not is a way to travel for the least money possible. If you are happy down the back and every euro counts, stay on the free list: it costs nothing and still brings you 52 alerts a year.
One more mismatch: a single fixed trip. Your watchlist filters by departure airport and alliance, not by destination, because the fares decide where we point. If your year holds exactly 1 trip, to 1 city, on fixed dates, skip the trial: no alert service can promise that one fare. Gold pays off for travellers with 2 or more destinations in mind, who choose where to fly after the fare lands. Last year that gave them 234 alerts across 63 departure airports and 51 airlines to choose from.
Same club. Not the same inbox.
