Scandinavia held three of the four lowest single prices in the window: €1,212 from Oslo (OSL), €1,227 from Stockholm (ARN) and €1,260 from Gothenburg (GOT), all from one SAS alert in March 2026. Lisbon (LIS), Porto (OPO) and Madrid (MAD) never dropped below €1,799, and Frankfurt (FRA) matched them.

Business class from London and Manchester to New York

London (LHR) saw 5 business class fares to New York in the window, from £1,484 with a £1,776 median. Manchester (MAN) matched it fare for fare: 5 fares from £1,491, with a lower median of £1,549. One oddity in the data: a TAP alert priced a Lisbon departure in pounds at £1,484, UK-market pricing on a Portuguese origin. The one first class alert in the window, excluded from all figures above, priced Edinburgh (EDI) at £2,254, Glasgow (GLA) at £2,251, London at £2,269 and Manchester at £2,259. Is Boston, Toronto or Chicago cheaper than New York?

If you are flexible on which North American city you land in, the honest advice is to track 2 or 3 of them at once: Toronto occasionally undercuts New York on the median, but across a full year New York produced both the lowest price and the most chances to catch one.
